Japan Nite 2010 Free Digital Album from Hear Japan

Check out JinnyOops!'s song "Toki" on a free album from Hear Japan.

In a previous post I mentioned I had listened to a compilation CD from last year’s Japan Nite. As near as I can tell, the Japan Nite folks offer the album as a marketing hand-out to keep spreading the good word on their featured artists. Japan Nite promises to hand out 100 copies of this year’s compilation on a first-come-first-served basis before the concert. Needless to say, I’m totally going to grab a copy, but last year it was only by the good graces of an Austin-based friend that I got ahold of one.

If only I had known then what I know now.

Hear Japan, an online music store featuring Japanese artists, is offering an absolutely free digital album promoting this year’s Japan Nite. You can download the eight tracks featured on the digital album individually, but if you download the whole thing you’ll get some band photos and Japan Nite fliers as well.

I’m not sure if this is the same album that will be appearing in physical form at Japan Nite, but I can confirm that it kicks. Give it a listen.
