A few short months ago, the city of Austin, TX was set upon by hundreds of bands hoping to get a little exposure and play some killer shows. Yes, SXSW, an annual Austin-based conference celebrating online media, film and music was in full swing. Right in the middle of it all, I met Lagitagida, a jazz-influenced prog-rock band who know how to kick it out. So much so that I’m putting my money where my mouth is and bringing you this extra episode of Nihongaku Radio with a full sound board recording of Lagitagida’s show from Headhunters during SXSW 2012.
