Polysics to Release 15th Anniversary Album, Distribute More Music Digitally Outside of Japan
The iconic Polysics “P” affixed to the band’s jumpsuits and acting as an ever-evolving logo on their album covers, may very well stand for prolific. Since longtime keyboardist Kayo graduated from the band in 2010 (a phrase the band itself uses to imply it was an amicable split), the remaining three members have hardly skipped a beat; releasing new singles, a full album and even a live recording. As of Valentine’s Day, some of that material is now available for purchase and download outside of Japan via the iTunes music store and Amazon.com. Until now, the only material available for digital download (in the U.S. anyway) was a three-track single called Electric Surfin’ Go Go.
