Japanese Ska Band Kemuri Tour With Streetlight Manifesto and Less Than Jake
It looks like things are picking-up-picking-up-picking-up for ska fans this summer.
Japanese ska band Kemuri got off to a great Skart (go with it) last summer when they returned to the U.S. after a 17-year absence to play a meager five shows. This summer they’ve packed a few extra changes of checkerboard shorts and expanded their tour schedule to nine gigs in the Southwest and West Coast. Kemuri will join up with American ska band Streetlight Manifesto’s tour in mid-July then meet up with the Manifesto once again for three Japanese gigs in August.
If you can’t catch Kemuri in either of those locales, you can maintain your positive mental attitude by seeing them on tour with the bastions of American ska known as Less Than Jake when they hit the UK for four shows in early October.
And if you can’t make either round of shows (Hey! Times are tough!) you can always snag Kemuri’s upcoming single due out on June 22. Stay tuned for details on that. Until then, here’s a breakdown of Kemuri’s tour schedule:
